Youth speech, poetry & song competition

Tauvaga mo tupulaga: tusi sau lauga, solo ma fatu sau pese.

A competition for students in speech (lauga), poetry (solo) and song (pese). Prizes of $1,000, $500 and $300 in each category.

Samoan Resource Development Project

The Tālā le Taʻui Resource Development Project will increase the proficiency of traditional knowledge among the youth of American Samoa. Information is being gathered from each village, and a digital profile will be created for Tutuila and Manuʻa as a resource for everyone to access.

Meeting grounds and meeting houses of each matai and their families
Igoa o Fanua
Names of each land in the village, and the origin of their names

Origin stories of the village and other prominent village stories
